    What to Expect:
    As a CNC Machinist you are responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills or other various CNC machinery as well as partial inspection and verification of component parts. We need quality craftsmen who can be creative and provide solutions to complex problems on a daily basis.

    Setup and operate CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills or other various CNC machinery.
    Read operator/process documents and perform setups and operations as described
    Read blueprints and part sheet to determine proper approach to creating precision parts.
    Machine complex components to tight tolerances in various materials with tight deadlines
    Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate your work
    Work as a team by openly collaborating fellow team members
    Proactively communicate with management other team members through verbal and written communications
    Maintain shop equipment as required
    Maintain a clean and organized workspace
    Participate in continuous improvement projects for the department and company


    Qualifications:
    Basic understanding of blueprint reading preferred, but not required
    Basic knowledge in the use of measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.
    Positive energy and attitude, with a passion for machining
    Thrives in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines
    Excellent attention to detail
    Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
    Excellent mechanical aptitude
    Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as a team with minimal supervision
    Ability to remain positive and focused in demanding and stressful situations
    Basic experience with common Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
    Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.


    Education and/or Experience:
    High School diploma or GED required
    Some post-secondary education in the trade or 1-2 years of related experience preferred


    Shifts Available:
    Day Shift is 6:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday
    Night Shift is 4:00pm – 2:30am Monday to Thursday
    3-day weekends and opportunity for overtime available!


    Competitive Wages:
    Starting wage for this position is $15.00/hour. Pay is negotiable and based on applicant’s education and/or work experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing.

    As a CAD Technician at Ware Malcomb, you will assist the Land Surveying Manager or Survey Project Manager in the preparation of multiple land surveying projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to gain exposure to various projects while working under the guidance of experienced professionals

    Your Role
    Assist in creating and provide AutoCAD support on ALTA, boundary, improvement, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions and exhibits.
    Perform deed research, deed plotting and map checks.
    Review and understand local and state ordinances.
    Support Land Development group when needed.

    Qualifications
    1+ years of experience in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
    Degree or Certificate in Land Surveying or related field is preferred.
    Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the following technical skills: Surveying procedures and practices, including the preparation of legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, field surveying, and land platting.
    MS Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
    Civil construction plan reading and interpretation experience.

    * Create mechanical sketches, layouts, and detail drawings.
    * Develop and check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
    * Develop the capability to navigate 3D models and check for interferences and constructability.
    * Complete miscellaneous tasks to support the project or department development.
    * Coordinate with other design partners (both internal and external) including construction partners, equipment suppliers, and other engineers and designers assigned to the project or task and review work progress and results.
