    Hitchcock Inc. in Burlington, CO is looking for welders/fabricators. We are a 62 year old family owned business who specializes in manufacturing chain floor trailers and a variety of other specialized agriculture equipment along with doing all kinds of welding repairs on all types of equipment. We also sell and service sprinkler irrigation equipment and are in need of field labor to service and repair sprinklers and repair underground for sprinklers.

    Summary
    Are you mechanically inclined? CHS, Inc. has an opening on our team as a Maintenance Intern in Yuma, CO! You will perform all tasks associated with our grain & agronomy locations by installing, adjusting, and maintaining all mechanical equipment & operations. Additionally, work alongside our millwright crew to perform general and preventive maintenance on our machines & facilities. Minimal travel, on call hours, and overtime eligibility is a must for your success in this position - apply today to be a part of the largest cooperative in the U.S.

    Responsibilities
    Under general supervision, maintain machinery, equipment, facilities or vehicles as needed and as efficiently and timely as possible.
    Repair and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the most efficient operation.
    Identify and diagnose problems on equipment and continually monitor equipment while initiating appropriate repair processes.
    Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
    Inspect parts, replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment on a wide variety of equipment.
    Coordinate with the supervisor on tasks ranging from simple part replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and preventative/predictive maintenance interventions ensuring that equipment is properly configured and/or set up.
    Install, maintain, rebuild, and replace parts, equipment, and machinery and troubleshoot maintenance problems.
    Perform maintenance planning and scheduling activities to assign equipment work orders.
    Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or directed.

    Minimum Qualifications (required)
    Currently enrolled in Welding, Diesel Mechanic or Millwright related degree program

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
