Fort Hays Tech | Northwest is seeking an individual to serve as the Certified Nurse Aide instructor. This is a part-time, adjunct position that involves teaching the 90-hour nurse aide program, coordinating various clinical sites, and communicating with KDADS on all course approval and reporting requirements.
Qualified applicants must hold a current Kansas License Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) license or current LPN/RN unencumbered license and be in good standing, and have a minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN).
Licensed experienced must include one of the following:
At least 1,750 hours of experience in a setting which demonstrates long-term nursing care or complete annually at least 7 hours of professional continuing education in “Person Centered Care for the Adult Care Home” and meet at least one of the following requirements (experience supervising nurse aides, experience teaching adults, complete a course in teaching adults, or complete a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education).
