Fort Hays Tech | Northwest Celebrates Students Signing on National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day

GOODLAND, KS (04/11/2025 ) — Fort Hays Tech | Northwest proudly participated in the 2025 NC3 National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day, joining hundreds of schools across the country in honoring students who have committed to their future through career and technical education.

In a ceremony held on campus, students signed their official letters of intent to attend Fort Hays Tech | NW this fall, taking the next big step toward meaningful careers in skilled trades, health sciences, and applied technologies.

“Our students are choosing a future built on purpose, passion, and a commitment to excellence,” Jason Showalter, Vice President of Student & Academic Advancement. “We’re proud to welcome them to Fort Hays Tech | Northwest and celebrate their decision to invest in themselves and their communities through hands-on, high-demand career training.”

This national signing day mirrors the excitement of athletic signings, placing a spotlight on students pursuing technical education and recognizing the vital role these careers play in strengthening the American workforce.

NC3 (National Coalition of Certification Centers) organizes the annual event in partnership with industry leaders, highlighting the importance of certifications and skilled workforce development.
