Work-Study Programs
Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.
If you are awarded work-study funds, you are responsible for finding your own job and meeting hiring requirements. Working at an hourly rate, you are allowed to earn the total Work-Study amount you have been awarded. Work-study funds are disbursed on a regular basis through paychecks given from the employer.
